Introducing ‘HIBC.tv’ – The Health Innovation Broadcast Consortium

Building on several prior successes of seemingly last minute social media campaigns nested and amplified in the assumed chaos of the digital conversations, against ‘mission impossible’ deadlines, several new media journalists have lined up to field an agile independScreen shot 2013-02-17 at 2.10.03 PMent media consortium.

The ‘born on’ date is February 13, 2013. The idea emerged from several independent digital media journalists, and two healthcare crowd funding platforms,  including: OpenAffairs.tv, The Doctor Weighs In, ACOwatch.com, with support from Medstartr.com and HealthTechHatch.com the crowdfunding platforms. Shortly thereafter, invitations were extended to other social media bloggers, and twitter enthusiasts to participate in the news gathering effort, including:

Our first deploy is the HiMSS 2013 Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans from March 3rd – 8th, 2013. We are bringing the usual blend of digital media coverage via blogs, twitter, Internet radio, etc., as well as certain premium services based on the level of backer support pledged on either Medstartr or HealthTech Hatch.
